EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH ART BEATZ!!

ART BEATZ has been in the producing game for well over 10 years and did records and remixes for mega stars such as NICKI MINAJ, Jae Millz and LIL JON. His new anthem #PLUR receives a lot of attention, and therefore we decided to catch up with him!

How did you initially come up with the face paint idea? It’s really original!

Initially the idea came when I made my music video “Riot”. It needed a unique character who came from a different planet. So the idea started by making it a mask but then face paint was the final approach.

Tell us a bit more about the #PLUR release?

The release of #PLUR came about while I was playing around with my Korg keyboard at home. I needed a phrase that would connect with edm fans and it was those four words that fit perfect.

What is coming up tour wise for you?

I am currently touring in the east coast. My next tour in the works is going to the west coast.

Which artist would you really like to collab with?

I would like to collab with vocalist Matthew Koma.

You had success for a number of artists from the pop and hip hop world. How did you make the connections and achieve that success?

I made the connections after giving out free music to DJs, songwriters and producers. I think to get anything done in life you have to give something before you get something back. That’s my approach in business.

If you could say one thing to David Guetta, what would it be?

Thanks to David Guetta for bringing dance music to the United States. He  after collabing with pop and hip hop artists/
